So , although I am deathly ill with a non-cold-or-flu-related cough, I am tired of going to bed at 10:00. Sick or not, I'll be back in the swing of things for tomorrow.

-Free show at Sin-e with Beat Radio. This is a great way to check these guys out. C'mon... it's FREE! And it's a great way to warm up before:
-New Pornographers at Webster Hall. I loved them over the summer, but I was drinking all day for that show. Luckily my coughing is qualmed with boozing.
Friday, October 14
-Head Set, Levy, Aberdeen City at Mercury Lounge. Matt Rant just suggested Aberdeen City to me in an earlier post. Levy has garnered raves from around the blogerator. And Head Set have one of the best albums I've heard all year. This is the DO NOT MISS show of the week. All for 8 bucks.
-??? at Cake Shop?... I have some party or after-party listed on my calendar. Does anyone know what this might be? I completely forgot.

-Jens Lekman @ Mercury Lounge -not a big fan, but I can imagine it's better live.

i wish i wasn't headed to philly for friday night, but since i am, you must get to the merc early to check out the end of the world. great band that would probably win you over. i highly recommend it. check out their myspace page for some samples and be sure to let us know how that show goes.
So is there another e-mail address to RSVP for the Tribeca Grand Rapture show...I e-mailed the address on the site and got same 'You've been added to the Rvng Intl. mailing list' response back that everyone else is confused about...anyone know if this is enough to get me on the list?
I'm psyched for New Pornos at webster hall thurs. You should try to get there for Destroyer. I'm curious to see what kind of show Bejar will put on (if any New Porno members will join him)...

i'm going to try to get to webster hall early to catch immaculate machine and destroyer. i hope i make it out from work in time.
also, you neglected to mention the john vanderslice/portastatic tour hitting nyc this weekend. the knit on friday, southpaw on saturday.
