Loose Record Logo

In response to the Emergency team raiding the Loose
Record show, they've redesigned their logo. Pretty hilarious.

Well, Lucky is coming, says that "the cops and fire department barred the door at fat baby for going over capacity[74]." This makes perfect sense, as I more or less noted in Brooklyn Vegan's comments:

If the capacity is at 74 or less, that means you don't have to have a Public Assembly Permit. They'll have to do a filing with the DOB (with a yearly fee), and have periodic inspections. Once you have that PA Permit (required for any assembly of 75 or more), standing audience capacity can go up to 1 person for every 4 square feet, according to the NYS building code. Sounds like the owner was trying to cut corners and fees.

Note to Hipsters: a "Dance Floor" requires a minimum of 10 square feet per person.

So, in essence, it's the NYS Building Code that's encouraging the non-dancing. No word of square feet per yeti.
