Mercury Lounge Ticket News

The Bowery Ballroom, Mercury Lounge, and Webster Hall "box office" has finally -and unfortunately- upgraded to the internet age. That means when you go to the Merc to buy tickets, it's now in realtime, instead of having tickets pre-printed and stuffed in envelopes.

Previously, when a show sold out online, you could rush down to the venue and snag up the leftovers in the envelopes. (Although, not that much has been selling out recently).

Barely related:
I'm pissed that I have to go all the way home after work today just to pick up my tickets for the Bowery show tonight. I totally forgot this morning. Grrr.
