Shhhh! Shhhecret Guests?

Art Brut is playing, and curating, the Knitting Factory on May 17 and 18. Tix ‘n Tix.

Who else is playing? Lessssee… for one, some band called “Art Brut 47.” Ahhhh yes. Of course. Art Brut 47.

I won’t spoil whom we (me) at Yeti Don’t Dance think “Art Brut 47” really are but it isn’t exactly model rocket “science”. (if that’s not a big enough clue, the answer might be in this article).

apparently oh my rockness also used the "scientific" method to hypothesize about who A.B. 47 might be, so i think the "secret" might be out!

ha. didnt see that.

I wonder what the deal will be. will they play only covers? they obviously can't cover Art Brut. maybe they'll cover their other pals from the uk.

I only wish "Keith TOTP" was Keith from WAS singing all Top of the Pops songs. Instead of, y'know, a legitimate musician.

You all got it wrong. It's Joey Ramone.

according to Last.fm Keith TOTP is tagged as "bedwetting indie." And Keith is Keith's biggest fan.

From, what I can gather from their message board, Keith Totp used to be in Eddie and Jaspers old band,

www.myspace.com/theartgoblins

quit, and now owns a recording studio and makes records for his friends and bands that he likes.

According to allmusic he made Art Bruts singles and b-sides.

I've got no idea what he sounds like but if the old band is anything to go by, it should at least be a laugh :-)
