Beirut at the Top of the Charts

Beirut’s been kicking Lily Allen’s cute little ass on the Elbo.ws rankings, but still lagging behind Sufjan. Even though Lily beat Beirut to the punch by being the first to ever perform (*warning* GINORMOUS photos of Lily), Beirut will have their chance tomorrow. NPR chimed in recently on them . Perhaps it helps to actually have an album out, which is currently #1 at Other Music. Not bad for 19 years old. Not the Arctic Monkeys, but not bad.
