Yes, it is true. Ryan Schrieber, founder of Pitchforkmedia, Inc., postulated to the Washington Post that the Gaskets could be the next Arcade Fire.

I guess I missed The Gaskets stuff as it was going around in March. I really like their sound. Thanks for posting this info.
