The Boy Least Likely To @ Knit Factory, some of which may be untrue
The Boy Least Likely To - Faith (George Michael Cover) (mp3)

TBLLT brought bubble machines this time around. And trophies. And -thank god- new jokes. While the evening started off with their lesser songs, by the end of the night I was carried along in their innocent merriment. But I got to thinking: is it really all that innocent? I had my doubts, as double entendres abounded: the virgin's lament "Be gentle with me," or "Fur Soft" - pretty much described [by themselves] as an orgy of stuffed toys.
"Rock Upon A Porch" was played at a breakneck speed and as such was understandably out of sync. "Faith" -that oh so sexual George Michael cover- was broken up a couple times by banter, and all night long they kept dropping fuckword after fuckword. Ok, that last part is wholly untrue. They were recording the show for the radio and told us to restrain ourselves from chanting cursings. They said, "This isn't a fucking football match!"
No. They didn't say that either. But they were undoubtedly told to clean up their filthy, filthy act. Plus, there were a few 13 year olds up front, so, you know... you can't just whip out your dick and pee in your mouth.
All in all, they dont quite have a full set's worth of great material, but they are able to construct their set list accordingly. I'm glad they backloaded [heh heh heh] it with their -umm- "strongest" "material."
Disclaimer: I apologize for this post, but I had just seen Smoosh play before them, so... you know....
Just kidding!
