Also on the line up for the Saturday show at the Mercury Lounge is a new band called Hymns. The go on at 8:30 so if anyone who is going to that show, they should come down early and check them out.

The Grates already delivered here, once. That's why I show up for the 8pm bands.

Opening for Walkmen at Warsaw is Richard Swift, and it's killing me that I'm going to miss him.

and yes, grates have played here, and I did read good reviews. but they haven't delivered for me. for ME. [I dont even know whaat they sing/play]

I saw The Grates at SXSW and they did indeed rule. Missed their NYC show since I was already in Austin for SXSWi and SXSWf.

I really like the grates CD but im not sure how popular they are. A few blogs have this show at the top of their list for tonight like you do, so im starting to worry.
